Meet David, our Orange Centre Manager
I began my Early Childhood career in 2002 after graduating from Charles Sturt University-Bathurst in 1999 and spending time in various primary schools. My journey started as an Early Childhood Teacher at Snug as a Rug, where I worked my way up to Assistant Director before becoming the founding Director of ABC Molong Rd in 2006.
I led the centre for 12 years, helping it achieve an ‘Exceeding’ rating while gaining valuable experience in leadership, mentoring, and compliance. After Goodstart acquired ABC, I took a break from Early Childhood and volunteered at Ronald McDonald House, supporting families facing health challenges. In 2018, I returned as a Preschool Room ECT at Seymour Street, where my passion for teaching was reignited, leading to my promotion to Assistant Director and, in July 2024, to Director.
Now, I work closely with our owners, Caique and Georgina, to create the best childcare centre in Orange, providing quality education, building strong community connections, and fostering a supportive workplace for educators.

How do I enrol my child at Nature's Academy Orange?

What ages does Nature's Academy cater for?
We welcome children from six weeks through to six years of age. Our centre is designed with dedicated rooms for each stage — Nursery (0–2), Toddler (2–3), Preschool (3–4), and Kindergarten (4–5) — so your child is always with peers at a similar stage of development.
Is the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) available at this centre?
Yes — Nature’s Academy Orange is an approved CCS provider. Most families are eligible for government support through Services Australia. To estimate what you may receive, visit the Services Australia CCS estimator. Our team can also help you understand what to expect when you book a tour.
What's included in the daily care?
Everything is included — nutritious meals and snacks, nappies, wipes, sunscreen, yoga sessions, and excursions. We believe families shouldn’t have to think about extras, so our care is genuinely all-inclusive from the moment your child arrives to the moment they leave.
How does the settling-in period work for new children?
We take settling in seriously. Every new child begins with a gradual introduction — starting with a short visit together, then building up over a few sessions. Educators keep in close communication with parents throughout, so you always know how your child is feeling and settling.
Is there parking near the centre?
We’re located at 19–21 Seymour Street, just two minutes from the Orange CBD. Street parking is available on Seymour Street and surrounding streets. If you’re unsure about access, feel free to call us before your first visit and we’ll point you in the right direction.
